Every dog’s mouth is different. Depending on the condition of their teeth and the amount of plaque buildup, we may recommend several sessions, usually spaced about a week apart, before moving on to regular maintenance cleans.

We’ll always assess your dog and talk you through what we feel is appropriate. Claire holds a Level 3 Award in Canine Oral Hygiene and has a particular interest in supporting good dental care for dogs.

Working Together for Healthy Teeth

Good dental care is a team effort. Emmi-Pet can support oral hygiene, but it does not replace regular veterinary dental checks or treatment. We also offer manual teeth cleaning as an alternative to Emmi-Pet.

Regular vet checks, good at home dental care, and appropriate maintenance cleaning all play an important part in looking after your dog’s teeth and gums. If we see anything that concerns us, we’ll always recommend speaking to your vet.
